Vintage John B. Stetson The Safari by Stetson Black Felt 3x Beaver Hat Sz 7 1/8.
This is from my own closet with plans to go on many great adventures with this hat that never happened. I acquired this from a friend in 1981 when she closed her shop.
The outside band is adorned with a pleated peach color ribbon with a small gold tone Stetson monogram tag.
The inside has a black leather sweatband, a back bow and the interior is stamped The Safari Collection by Stetson.  There is a gold stamped John B, Stetson Company 3x Beaver on the interior leather band for quality and authenticity.
The hat measures brim to brim 13.75 inches long and 12inches wide.
Condition is "Pre-owned". Barely worn. Brim shape is terrific and firm.
