An exquisite antique Victorian 18k yellow gold domed floral parure, consists a large brooch / pendant, a small brooch / pin, a pair of earrings and a chain in the matching set, in pictured original Finnigans jewelers' (Founded in 1875 in Manchester) silk lined leather box.
This hand crafted set is absolutely ornate and beautiful adorned with vibrant faceted rubies, opal cabochons, and black enamel to achieve the striking effect on the set. The petals and leaves are finely textured to give the flowers a realistic look. On the large brooch, even the prong setting of the rubies and larger opals are in petal form. The large gold beads on the border on the large brooch give the piece a rather interesting geometric look along with the pointed outline.
The rubies are old and quite precious, beautiful in color and quite clear.
The set is 18k gold except for the 9k chain.
The large brooch is approx. 1.8" across.
The cute small brooch is approx. 1" across.
The earrings are nearly 3/4" across.
All gemstones are natural and earth mined.
The 9k yellow gold oval link chain is fully hallmarked, approx. 19" long.
