    Description

    Here is a good Saturday Evening Girls Paul Revere Pottery plate decorated with a landscape tree band in green outlined with black against a 2-tone blue ground. It is signed P.R.P., 1936, and LS for Lily Shapiro.  It measures 8 3/8 inches in diameter, and 5/8 inch high. It is in excellent condition considering most pieces were intended for use by children with no chips, cracks, or repairs, however there are some bubbles on the face and roughness to the foot from the firing.  A nice piece of Arts and Crafts New England art-ware from the end of the famous pottery's production.  If you have any questions please click on our username or visit our store page and feel free to email through the gallery or call Jim Messineo at JMW Gallery.
