    Radial Chain is the “original” cable chain traction product for passenger cars. Originally designed to save sidewall wear on radial tires, and was the first real brand name in cable chain winter traction products. Alloy traction coils covering the crossmember add more bite in snow and ice. The light-weight and simple construction offers a smooth, quiet ride. Radial Chain is available in passenger and light truck sizes. Radial Chain’s “consumer friendly” features caused rapid growth in popularity and today it is still recognized as a market leader in: Low operating space requirements (around drive tires). Meets S.A.E. Class “S” clearance requirements; Simple mounting and removal, due to its low weight; Improved starting, stopping and cornering performance; All steel construction for long service life, featuring Peerless Industrial Group’s traction coils instead of traditional steel rollers which flatten easily; and a Smooth ride. The plastic package is durable, waterproof and recyclable. This package works well for retail display as well as long-term consumer use. Chain tighteners should not be used. Replacement cross members are available through some retailers and require a special tool for installation.
