    Description

    San Francisco Cable Car Authentic Rail and Cable Section Set.
    This set consists of a section steel rail manufactured in Lorraine, Ohio in 1909 and a section of cable car cable. The rail was used on the California Line until 1982. The cable was also taken out of service in 1982.  The rail and cable each have a brass medallion attached.
    The medallion on the rail is attached with 2 brass rivets and on the cable it’s medallion is fixed on the silver metal band holding the cable together.
