    Description

"San Juan de Lorena - San Francisco D Asis - Tilaco A 1762"  This large bell is 22" tall by 20" wide. Made by California Bell Co., the originators of the 1906 El Camino Real Bells founded by Mrs. ASC Forbes in 1906. Condition is "New".  This bell was inspired by the bells at Mission Tilaco in Mexico which was founded in 1762 by Father Junipero Serra before coming to California to found the 21 Alta California Missions beginning in 1769.  Father Serra founded 5 missions in Mexico before coming to California. There is no text on the reverse side.
This powder coated aluminum bell is the most economical way to display a bell where a bell needs to go like a mission style home, Spanish style campanario, or a Tuscan Villa bell tower.  The crown top can be connected to a beam, or hung from a hook (Connectors not included.). If you need a clapper they are usually available on the California Bell website.  The ring tone is fine, but not as nice as the patina bronze bells still made by California Bell.
Made by the California Bell Company which was founded by Mrs. ASC Forbes in 1906 and is the originator of the 1906 El Camino Real Bells.  Cal Bell even made the 9" ECR Desk bells beginning in 1914 that you see on eBay today.  They also still make the original El Camino Real Bells and other bells for CalTrans, counties, cities, and for the backyards of bell lovers across the country.  Shipped with FedEx Ground or FedEx Home Delivery.  I am happy to answer your questions.
