Large SATURDAY EVENING GIRLS SEG 12-5/8” SOLID BLUE GLAZED SHALLOW BOWL by EVA GENECO EG
For sale is a lovely, large Saturday Evening Girls SEG low, shallow bowl designed by Eva Geneco (signed with her initals EG).
It measures approximately 2.25” high by 12-5/8” in diameter. Sits on a small 2-5/8” foot. This bowl is glazed in a medium solid blue glaze. It is in excellent vintage condition with no chips or cracks. There are some light scratches from use over the years. I've tried to photograph some ( please note that these close ups do not reflect the true color of the bowl). They aren't particularly detracting but are there. There is also some factory grit in the glaze typical of this type of ceramic ware.
Again bottom is signed with the initals EG for Eva Geneco  and also has 'S.E.G.', 015 and ?-22 which dates this piece to ?, 1922.
