I just purchased this vintage Imperial Glass candy dish from a local estate here in Central Virginia. The piece was produced as part of their "Zodiac" line No. 1590. The hexagonal form features panels with each sign of the Zodiac surrounded by a finely stippled ground. The piece is done in "Crystal" clear glass which is bright, no cloudiness or staining. The piece measures 9 ¾" high and 5" in diameter. The interior bears the embossed "IG" mark. Both the base and lid are in excellent condition with no damage. This striking Zodiac candy dish would make a fun addition to your collection of vintage Imperial glass or Mid Century inspired décor.
