    Description

    Strange Turnings, that's me,
    I Handcrafted this Pear Shape style 6mm Exotic Bocote Rug Hook with a custom cut, honed and polished solid brass tip similar to  the Irish/Hartman design and it has  a Mother-of-Pearl finial inlay.
    This Exotic Bocote wood  Ergo style rug hook   is 4 7/8" long overall and the diameter at its widest is 1 1 /4" . The hand cut/honed/polished Brass hook measures 1 5/8" long in a Hartman/Irish style shape. The solid brass is 6mm in diameter  at the handle end and starts to taper down  to the hook end at little over 1/32" wide at the tip end and just under 1/8" tall.  The final inlay is my signature natural
    Iridescent Mother of Pearl and in this one is 1/2" diameter.
    Bocote  is a lovely wood that looks like a wild Tiger's pelt and has wild and wonderful figure. A beautiful  wood.
