This listing is for an impressive Sterling Silver sauce or gravy boat in the beautiful CHANTILLY GRAND pattern by Gorham featuring a b
eautiful hand chased design with ribbons and fruit garlands. This stunning sauce boat
has a cartouche on both sides with monogram "T S D" in one and "M E C" on the reverse. M
arked with the old Gorham trademark stamp, "Sterling, A577" with "Spalding & Co. Chicago" for retailer and the letter "P" .  Gorham's Chantilly-Grand pattern was introduced in 1897-98. The letter we interpret as a "P" could possibly be an "F" and would be the chaser's mark.  Sauce boats are generally the most difficult piece to find in any Sterling Silver pattern and this one is absolutely stunning!
Measures 7 1/4" long, 4" wide and 4" high. Weighs 326 grams.
This nice sauce boat is in excellent Estate condition with no noted flaws and reflecting only minimal signs of normal wear.
