E. V 1881 SHEFFIELD ENGLAND BRITISH STERLING SILVER FOOTED SAUCE BOAT
Available for your consideration is this properly hallmarked sterling silver sauce boat made in Sheffield England By E. V (Edward Viners?) in 1881. The sauce boat measures about 2 1/4" tall at the leading edge of the spout, 6" long from the front of the spout to the back edge of the handle, and about 3 1/2" wide accross the center of the bowl. The sauce boat shows 2 shallow dimples on the interior of the bowl, general signs of surface scratches from use or storage, and no repairs. The sauce boat weighs about 103 grams.
