  • Condition: This item is in fairly good condition for a brochure that is 85 years old. Many photos of the Death Valley area, black and white, nice and clear. The map of Death Valley is in color and in good condition. There is a small 1/2" tear from front through the first 4 pages, other than that it is clean and in nice shape.

    Description

    For sale is an old brochure of the Death Valley area published in 1935, and highlighting the different sights to be seen in the area. There are 2 hotels that are highlighted, The Furnace Creek Inn & Ranch and the Amargosa Hotel, both of which appear to have been operated by the Death Valley Hotel Company located in Los Angeles, California.
    The center pages are a map of Death Valley in full color and has many sights to be seen. All of the rest of the brochure is loaded with black and white photos of the area and the hotels. The brochure is 4" x 9" folded up. Opens up to 8" x 9, and map in the center is 16" x 9".   A lot of history here.
