    Description

    Here is an amazing Victorian  child's silk coat with layers of embroidered lace.  The coat is covered in silk and has a large 2 layer embroidered lace collar.  Collar and sleeves are embellished with trim and have panels of silk with beautifully embroidered lace.  Bottom of coat is also beautifully embroidered.  The coat closes with mother of pearl buttons. There are a few areas in the collar where the silk is thinning and giving away (pictured),  Overall condition is excellent.  Truly an exceptional piece.
