Here is an antique circa 1920's souvenir photo booklet of Hollywood, California. The photos are stunning, and it includes history of Hollywood, Los Angeles, and Southern California. Included are portraits of famous film star actors & actresses of the time- Charlie Chaplin, Mary Pickford, Douglas Fairbanks, Jackie Coogan and others. Colorized photos include Taft Avenue, the Japanese Temple, Hotel Hollywood, the Writers Guild, Grauman's Egyptian Theater, Hollywood High School, Fairbanks Studio, Krotona Institute, Hollywood Boulevard, Christie Hotel, Masonic Temple, Bay of Avalon, United Studios, LA Harbor and the steamer ship Yale, the Hollywood Bowl, and Venice Santa Monica Ocean Park among other places. It was published by F. Weber Benton.
The size is 11 3/4" by 8 1/2", and it's condition is used with a lite musty smell, the innermost page is loose, age wear/surface dirt and some staining, and two small edge tears on the cover as seen in the photos. Overall this is a very beautiful and historic booklet on the very famous tourist city of Hollywood.
