Antique Edwardian Silver Filigree Amethyst Stone Gem Pendant Earrings Set LOVELY

ESTATE FIND: Beautiful silver filigree and amethyst stone pendant and earrings, c. 1900. Item is in mint condition, in original box with no sign of wear to the jewelry. Large multifaceted stones are flawless to the eye - no chips cracks or scratches. The settings appear to be tarnished silver, but I can find no markings to indicate sterling. Nor can I find any proof of genuine gemstone, but it belonged to a person with an October birthday and was given as a gift for a six- year anniversary, both of which signify amethyst.Chain links are uniform and without issue - look to be evenly tarnished so no stains or pits to be concerned about when you clean this beautiful set. Box shows mild wear from storage but is still quite elegant and presentable.
MEASUREMENTS: Pendant 1.5 cm in diameter (filigree setting) with a 1 cm. diameter stone. The chain is 30 cm in length with a barrel/screw style clasp. The earrings are 1.25 cm across the back of the setting with a 1 cm diameter stone (interesting discovery - it's an optical illusion that makes these look smaller than the pendant's stone!). Screw-back style stud earrings, unbent and fully functioning.
