An exceptional, fine and impressive pair of antique George V sterling silver sauceboats made in the Design style by Omar Ramsden; an addition to our dining silverware collection.
These exceptional antique George V sterling silver sauceboats have a plain oval rounded form onto a swept circular foot, in the Design style.
The body of each piece has a planished finish, in addition to a broad tapering band to the upper portion.
These Oman Ramsden sauceboats are fitted with fine and impressive cast sterling silver faceted, scrolling handles.
Each piece is supported by a cast silver foot, encompassed with a plain applied moulded border to the rim.
These exceptional silver sauceboats were crafted by the collectable and renowned silversmith Omar Ramsden and bears the Latin engraving* Omar Ramsden Me Fecit' - Omar Ramsden made me to the underside.
Condition
These antique Omar Ramsden sauceboats are an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition.
Full hallmarks struck to the surface of the body of each sauceboat are all very clear; the hallmarks are struck deeply due to the exceptional gauge of silver.
