Antique c1900 Beautiful Roger Williams Sterling Silver Gravy Boat w/ Underplate

Description

Presented is a fabulous quality Roger Williams sterling silver gravy boat with underplate. This piece dates to around the turn of the century. The gravy boat and its under plate are done in a hexagonal form, beautifully hand chased with intricate floral and foliate scroll designs. Both the plate and the sauce boat have a monogram of AHB in flowing script.
This set is in great overall condition. There are a couple of old solder repairs to the interior of the gravy boat near the center, which are very hard to notice. Otherwise there are no splits, no breaks, no chips, no dents, no monogram removals, and no other repairs.
Each piece is stamped on the underside with the retail mark for Bigelow, Kennard & Co as well as sterling and the maker's mark for Roger Williams Silver Co.
The gravy boat stands about 4 3/8 inches tall and measures about 7 3/8 inches from spout to handle. The under plate measures about 7 1/4 by 5 inches.
The total weight for the pair is 337 grams or 11.9 regular ounces.
