For sale is a lovely antique Bailey & Co of Philadelphia Coin Silver Gravy Or Small Covered Sauce Tureen 1848 - 1865. This gorgeous piece of early American coin silver is in very good condition. It is approximately 6 1/2” tall including the finial 4” wide and 8” long from handle to handle it is monogrammed ECA it weighs 19.60 Troy ounces. Bailey & Co was one of the finest silver company’s of the time employing Silversmiths such as George Sharp this gravy boat is beautiful with a lot of loose floral repousse work marked on the base with the Bailey Co mark along with the bullet mark and other marks. A gorgeous piece to add to your collection.
