Antique 1928 English Crichton Classical Form Sterling Silver Gravy/Sauce Boat.

Description

Presented is a wonderful quality, solid sterling silver sauce or gravy boat made by the Crichton Company Ltd of London in 1928. This antique piece is done in a classical form, raised on 3 decorative, shell form feet and the handle has an acanthus leaf accent. This piece has never been monogrammed and has been professionally polished.
The underside is marked with the leopard's head for London, the lion passant for sterling silver, a date letter n for the year 1928 and a maker's mark for the Crichton Brothers Company.
This piece is in excellent overall condition. There are no damages and no repairs.
The boat measures 7 1/2 inches from handle to spout and is 4 1/2 inches tall.
