    Description

The Afghanistan 10,000 Afghanis was issued in 1993 due to inflation that followed after the Soviet invasion. This particular note comes in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated. Its obverse features the Masjid-i Jami in Herat which is also known as a Friday Mosque or a congregational mosque. The seal of Da Afghanistan Bank which depicts horsemen, ancient coins, and a cornucopia is also visible on the notes obverse. The reverse is the Arch of Qala-e-Bost in Lashkar Gan. This 171 x 76 mm paper note comes with a solid security thread with printed 10000 and text. When held up to a light source, an image of the bank seal can be seen.
