HISTORY
This 1-Owner 420 SEL was purchased new in October 1991 in Ohio. The original owner kept it for 29 years, driving only 32K and treating this Mercedes-Benz to regular service at the same Mercedes dealership since its purchase. We even spoke to the original service manager, who worked with this family and took care of this 420 SEL. He was able to confirm the meticulous care that the previous owners took when they brought in their vehicles. He was thrilled to see it in such wonderful condition still and confirmed that everything noted on the Carfax for service work was performed. What an amazing story!
CONDITION
This 420SEL is in superior, museum-quality condition. The interior is beyond impressive, showing practically no signs of wear. The wood trim, dashboard, headliner, carpets, and all leather surfaces are all in impeccable condition. The underbody and drivetrain of this car are simply amazing and retain the look and feel of a new automobile. Factory original body panels match the clean Carfax. The paint is factory original on all panels with the exception of cosmetic paintwork on the lower portion of the right doors.
