Here is your chance to own this wonderful 32 page souvenir booklet entitled
The World’s Wonder Bridges! Golden Gate and San Francisco - Oakland Bay Bridges
produced by Wobbers or San Francisco. The booklet celebrates the completion of the construction of the San Francisco - Oakland Bay Bridge (opened in 1936) and Golden Gate Bridge (opened in 1937) with beautiful black and white photographs of the bridges, the construction and the city of San Francisco and the surrounding area. The booklet also anticipates the upcoming Golden Gate International Exposition held on San Francisco’s Treasure Island. The fair ran from February, 1939 to September 1940. The photos used in the booklet were taken from the Gabriel Moulin Studios famous California photographers.
This booklet is in
very good condition
. There is a short gift inscription on the inside front cover, with some minor offset on the front end paper, but does not distract. Would make a great addition to any library or collection of material related to the these two historic bridges, San Francisco and/or Northern California tourism. Will also ship internationally, though will have determine the cost of shipping depending on where it is being shipped.
