Here is your chance to own this wonderful 1939 tourism brochure for California’s famous Redwood Empire. Produced by the Redwood Empire Association, the 20-panel brochure contains lots of great information and pictures on things to do in pre-WWII Northern California’s great Redwood Empire. There is also large map of Northern California and Southern Oregon and another map showing the entire West Coast, from Mexico to Canada (see scans), designed to entice visitors thanks to the recently opened Golden Gate Bridge (The bridge opened in May 1937). This brochure was given out as a souvenir to visitors at the Redwood Empire Building during the Golden Gate International Exposition held on San Francisco’s Treasure Island. The fair ran from February, 1939 to September 1940.
This brochure is in
excellent condition
. Would make a great addition to any library or collection of material related to the Golden Gate International Exposition, San Francisco and/or Northern California tourism. Will also ship internationally, though will have determine the cost of shipping depending on where it is being shipped.
